Chiran tea is nurtured in Minamikyushu City,
a vast land with a warm climate.
Taste-test three kinds of Chiran tea here: "Asatsuyu,"
which is noted for its rich sweetness, body and umami and is also called "natural Gyokuro green tea;"
"Saemidori," which is defined by its elegant sweetness and aroma and is born from a combination of "Asatsuyu" plus "Yabukita" that is the most cultivated tea in Japan in terms of volume;
and "Yutakamidori," which is characterized by its gentle sweetness and smooth, strong body.
Enjoy Chiran tea free of charge at the 1st Floor Lounge.
Located next to Miyagahama Station is a shochu distilled liquor brewery that offers shochu only brewed there for purchase as well as brewery tours and taste-testing. Located approx. 10 min. on foot from Kinkouroh.
